Tourism Operations Executive, Cairo

Job Description

• Tour Execution and Logistics: Manage and coordinate all daily tour operations within Cairo, ensuring seamless handling of meet-and-assist services, airport transfers, and guided sightseeing
• Supplier Coordination: Secure and confirm bookings with key suppliers, including domestic transportation fleets, premium hotels, restaurants, and top-tier Egyptologists/guides
• Problem Solving and 24/7 Support: Serve as the main point of contact for tour guides and on-ground teams, proactively resolving scheduling shifts, traffic delays, or any operational challenges in real time
• Quality Control: Ensure all operational elements meet the company’s’ strict high-end hospitality standards, maintaining consistent client satisfaction from arrival to departure
• Costing and Record Keeping: Issue accurate operation orders, track supplier invoices, and update booking statuses in the internal company system

Job Requirements

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in tour operations, hospitality logistics, or within a reputable Destination Management Company (DMC) in Egypt
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotels and Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
• Languages: Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in an additional European or Asian language is highly advantageous
• Skills:
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities with sharp attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure with strong quick-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and general travel software
• Flexibility: Willingness to handle urgent operational matters during peak seasons or irregular rotational shifts if required
